MLA-Fam-Photog-Winner-2018All through my life, I’ve had a passion for photography. I’ve always wanted to capture moments in my life but more importantly, the people in my life. Photographs have always held such significance to me. As I’ve gotten older and started a family as well as having lost loved ones in my life, this has become even more true. Photographs are powerful. They have the ability to capture a moment in time that can then be cherished forever. My goal going into each session is to document these moments not only so that you will love them today, but that you will love them for years to come.

One of the photographs that I love most is a picture of me with my Mom when I was just a baby. The person who took that photograph forty years ago could never have known the significance it would have in my life today. This is what it’s all about for me. Capturing the love, the laughs, the joy and the people in your life so you will have these photographs to enjoy for years to come.

Photographing people is what I love to do. I specialize in portrait photography. I love working with newborns, children, families, seniors, couples and professionals. I offer a wide range of services and portrait packages to suit each client’s needs. I offer studio sessions, outdoor sessions and sessions on location.

When I’m not behind my camera, I’m doing what I love most, which is being home with my family. My husband Colin and I have three kids ages 7, 6 and 2. My husband and I both grew up in this community so raising our family here and getting to provide services to the people of this community has really been such a blessing. I have a sign in my office that reads “Do What You Love, Love What You Do” and I feel incredibly fortunate to be doing just that.

I’m incredibly honored to have been named the “2018 Most Loved Family Photographer” by Hulafrog and to have also been featured in Boston Voyager Magazine.

As well as having a passion for photography, I’m also a professionally trained photographer. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been trained by some of the best portrait photographers and newborn photographers in the industry. Safety and quality of services are always my top priorities. Kate Kelley Photography is a fully licensed and insured photography studio. My studio is conveniently located at 55 West Street in Walpole, MA. My studio is located inside the Walpole Station Business Center on the first floor and is fully handicap accessible.
